Background

Misinformation and disinformation present a major challenge to public health efforts, democracy and other human rights. Against this backdrop, People Interest Technology Africa is organizing a webinar to explore measures to fight against the spread of misinformation and disinformation in the region.
The webinar is expected to attract various stakeholders, including Policy makers, Regulators, Academia, industry Media, Youth and Civil society across Africa interested in combating misinformation and disinformation.
